I was alone, and had my two youngest kids- ages 1 & 2- in the van with me. I was in yesterday and during the initial systems check I watched the technician snap my oil dipstick. Not a huge deal. I know they are cheap. However, by the time checkout came they still had not told me they broke the dipstick! I understand things break and I wasn't upset, but breaking something as a service provider and not fixing, compensating, or informing the customer at all? Very disappointed. If you value honesty avoid this place.

8/12/201 Monday 7:00pm Mark David Hurte Valvoline Instant Oil Change Nicholasville KY...you better make it right tomorrow. Your technician couldn't get my air filter housing off and just lifted it up with a rear clasp in place and cracked an intake hose, then couldn't get the air filter back in the proper place causing me to have a "Restricted Performance" code come on while driving home. all the guys are amazing and explained everything and asked before they just replaced something & let me know I'd be charged extra. I'll be back Everytime I need an oil change for sure.
I have used this place before and this past time I was in I had huge issues with my car afterwards! My car had problems the next morning after a simple oil change! I took it to another mechanic and they showed me there was oil all over the engine and when they went to drain the oil which should have been full from being changed yesterday, there was less than a quart in there and it was old! I would not recommend at all!
Went today for an extremely overdue oil change and was nervous about buying things I really didn't need. Thankfully Luke walked through everything with me! He showed me how the engine works, what's important to keep an eye on and explained it all with patience and a smile. Thank you Luke and the Valvoline team for doing a great job, being so nice, and getting me out of there in the pledged 15 min! I'll definitely be back for my next oil change.
