I bought a VCR December 1st, 2016 because we have a collection of vhs tapes. Came home and tried to watch a video and the VCR doesn't work at all, keeps shutting off right after you turn it on, tried putting a tape in and now it is stuck and won't come out. I've called and talked to a manager about the issue because supposedly they test the equipment before putting it for sale. Well, I am not happy with nothing being done about a broken item they sold. Considering that nothing has been washed, cleaned up and used it's STILL outrageous priceing GONE WILD. Their are better places with much much more reasonable pricing! OH AND HEY THEY GET EVERYTHING 'FREE"
Cindy Koch is right. The prices here are over the top. But there are sale days where everything is on 1/2 price and then there are .99 cent days where much of the merchandise gets knocked down you have to know the tag color daily. I wish they'd skip the sale thing and just mark their stuff appropriately. I mean who's going to take a chance on say...shoes if they're more than $7.00?
I looked around at value village yesterday and found the store clean and organized but the prices are over the top you can find better bargains buying new items at the retail store. I was a single mom for more than 15 years and would never be able to shop at value village because of the outrageous prices. I did research and have not found an answer but I'm pretty sure that the money made off of donations is profit only. I called the store to simply ask if they had any soccer shorts for children. Tammy a cashier was talking to me on the phone & having other conversations @ the same time wishing someone a happy birthday. then her answer to me was " I couldn't tell you"
