If you need to "schedule" vaccinations or routine checkups, all is fine. If you have a sick pet that cannot suddenly walk or has rectal bleeding and needs more urgent attention, forget it. Go somewhere else. I have had this happen twice. Same story. "We can't schedule you today." Really, for rectal bleeding? Find a more caring and responsible group and save the headache.

Awesome service, low upfront pricing – I love this vet. The price for my dog's vaccines are $15.00 each, and I don't have to see the vet for the follow up vaccines - cutting the cost more (thier suggestion). The techs are awesome and friendly - my dog loves them and can't wait to get in there. When he was nuetered, he didn't like the kennels, so the vet took him in her office and let him sleep under he desk and said he was quite a lovey dog - which he is :). As to the review about upfront prices - IT'S ON THE WEBSITE, ON THE... read more

Lame Spammer – CITYSEARCH MODERATORS -- Please don't delete this post unless you also delete the post by abargatze. This response is intended to counteract the score weighting by abargatze's 5 star rating, which isn't a legitimate rating from a customer. CB2010, Thank you for your review. As twisted as it sounds, it's often the negative reviews that are most helpful because it's often in those challenging situations that the real character of an establishment comes out. abartgaze, you're review isn't a review at all. I'd con... read more

To Walmart Analogy – ok, so please go back and read everything that you have written. Are you really complaining because you did not recieve free things. And the wal-mart thing is a great way to explain these situations to ignorant people like you. You brought the pet to the vet, expect to pay something, and quit complaining everytime a vet quotes you a price. If you are going to complain then do not bring the pet in and just let it die at home for all we care. I dont even work for V V and i am annoyed by this comment. vet h... read more

Surprisingly Solid – I've been very pleased with Value Vet so far. I've taken both my dog and cat there. I switched from a pricey vet in Brentwood after a friend recommended them. There is not a massive difference in price, but I'd say there's enough of a difference, combined with what I perceive to actually be better care, to make the switch worthwhile. I took my dog for his annual exam/vaccines and my cat for an emergency situation and received excellent service each time - 2 different vets.

Bellevue location: WalMart Analogy Mantra – I visited the Bellevue Value Vet today out of desperation. My regular vet was out of town & VV is convenient to where I live. Upfront payment requirements were not divulged until the very end of the $29 exam, which I paid. A customer should never be led through the sales process without being given clear payment policy parameters. Dr. French was fine; she confirmed my cat did not have a blockage. After her 5 minute overview, she went outside to create an action plan. Tech came in a... read more

Bellevue Location / Really nice experience – I made an impromptu visit just to get a feel for The New Value Vet in Bellevue. I was motivated to seek out less expensive vet care purely based on our average cost for annual check ups for our 2 large dogs, I was pleasantly surprised by the professional greeting and knowledge of the tech at the front desk, and again pleasantly surprised by the polite introduction of the Vet Dr. Kopleke on call that day. I followed up with an appt for our 2 canines. I am thrilled by the thorough c... read more

Polite, complete, inexpensive service – I LOVE Value Vet. I take both my cats there, and they have always been very polite and complete in their services. It's easy to get an appointment. I've often gotten in the same day I've called. They also give me the choice of making the appointment at either location, regardless of which number I call. I first started taking my cats there after another area vet overcharged me and was rude in the process. I have been thrilled with the service at Value Vet though. When I take my kitties... read more
