I had a very disappointing experience with the receptionist at WoodSpring Suites Lake Charles. I called simply to ask about the price for two nights, and the receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional from the beginning. First, she put me on hold for a long time without any explanation. After waiting, I disconnected the call and called back. Horrible experience. The outside of the hotel is nice, it’s located in a nice area but that’s it. The hotel smells really bad, the old man at the front desk has the worst customer service I ever had, he’s very rude and besides that be aware they desk is closed at night, they all go home and leave a paper with a phone number to call in case of emergency. That place really sucks, is very nasty.
This is a hotel that doesn't respect check-out times. At 10:30 AM, they knocked on my door three times, even though I had told them I would only be leaving at 11:00 AM. They kept bothering me and trying to force me to leave before the scheduled time.
