When I first switched to Valley about 2 months into my pregnancy, I was happy with the practice. As long as Dr. Wolsey was never my doctor, I liked all the others (He constantly talked to me like I was a child about my weight gain in the first few months when I saw him even though I’d been so sick that I’d been losing weight through the first trimester!). On 4/14, Dr. Rees was the physician on call at IHC Utah Valley when I went into the ER for an ectopic pregnancy with pain. He gave what I consider negligent medical advice when he insisted I have my surgery done the next day. I left the ER at hearing this to avoid a large ER overnight bill, but was told to come back by ER nurses and doctors who were absolutely amazing in advocating for my care, despite Dr. Rees' poor advice.
