RecommendedDr. Summar and his staff are AMAZING and FANTASTIC and he has been my bunny vet for years. He is very down to earth and his prices are very reasonable and he has a amazing amount of knowledge with different types of animals and is always willing to figure out the best treatment plan for a individual animal. I highly recommend him for anyone with a exotic or regular pets. He has also been kind enough to see one of our chickens too :) .

Dr Summar has been my vet for more than 15 years. love him. I have 5 dogs and he always remembers each and every one of them. will never go anywhere else.
Dr Summar is a godsend. He is personable and listens to the owners about their pets. He is a no frills clinic and keeps the cost manageable
I walked into the clinic on a whim. Dr. John quickly diagnosed a problem and fixed it with a fairly simple surgery. we had been through 3 yrs of misdiagnosis at our prior vet. Dr and staff are very knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommend Valley Vet. Ruth Krier

We had our 8 year old Terrier's teeth cleaned today and the entire staff was amazing and professional. The cost was 1/3 of what my current vet had quoted for cleaning. Several of our neighbors in Bear valley had already been going here and everyone loves Dr. John and his staff. Keep up the great work!
Dr. John is the bomb I have had to bring my Irish Setter who is 6 years old in to get stitches have his eyes checked for an eye infection I've taken my mutt of a dog in twice for an ear infection dr. John is an extremely reasonable priced Veterinary doctor he really seems to care about the animals and not about the money which is something that I absolutely love he allows the dogs to have a little bit of free roam around the building which 90% of the other veterinary clinics do not I mean I couldn't ask for more in a vet he ... read more
Dr. Summar is a ROCK Star!!! Found him by happenstance for treatment of a rescued bunny we took in. Then we had one of our cats have a stroke and he was so supportive of the whole recovery process, another vet might have recommended lots of drugs or just had us put him down, but not Dr. John. He encouraged us to just keep him quiet, and wait out the weekend and see how things went, and thankfully our wonderful Baxter is still with us and has almost completely recovered!
