RecommendedNot only does Valley Springs Golf have nice facilities, but also terrific professional help for your golf game. Jim Smithberger is the golf pro/manager of the facility. He is an excellent teacher/coach. He has improved my game over the last several years. His instruction has made the game more enjoyable for me. He is helpful, friendly, and kind. He gets results through patience and respect. I recommend Jim to golfers of all skill levels and ages who want to have more fun playing golf.

Here's a shout out to everybody, Jim Smithburger is back at Valley Spring Golf. This was the "Liberty Road Golf Center" back in the day. At one time this was a very fine Jr. Par 3 Golf Course and a great place to start young golfers. The new owners are going to bring it back to glory. Came to utilize the driving range and had a great time! Mike stopped by as I was swinging and helped with some pointers and tips. Which helped me out to improve my form and swing. Great place and staff!
I just took up golf again, and stopped here for the first "swings" since the 1990s. Jim, the resident pro, went out of his way to take care of me. I've taken the family there to use the pitching machines many times (as well as stopped secretly on my own). It's a great venue for batting practice because we get to swing away without being in a batting cage.
