Fiery red sandstone glazed with corrugations forms the nucleus of this park which is a picturesque desert wonder. Having been a Nevada landmark since the 1930s, this state park is a startlingly insightful subject on geology, history as well as archaeology. Standing strong through hundreds of years, the park can safely be called a canvas of textured waves of red water frozen in time. Riddled with sweeping canyons and rock art which dates as far back to as 2000 years, the state park has been a shelter of the indigenous and old... read more

you won't be disappointed, its beautiful here!
Beautiful! What an awesome display of Gods creation!
Everything was just gorgeous and peaceful.
Beautiful place. Going again soon
Most beautiful place to ride a Harley in all of Southern Nevada! Spectacular views, scenic red rock formations. Simply beautiful landscape. So much to see from ancient Indian petroglyphs to spectacular rich red rock formations to beautiful desert 🌵 landscapes in stark contrast to the beautiful blow skies. One of my favorite rides. Definitely recommend this State Park to all residents who live in Southern Nevada to visitors just looking for something beautiful to see out of Sin Cities lights.
Incredible!! Definitely spend the entire day at the valley of Fire!!
It is inexpensive to enter the park. I suggest visiting if you are in Las Vegas because the park is only a 45 minute drive away. You could easily spend the whole day here.
If you haven’t been to Valley of Fire you’re missing a wonderful place that’s just 45 min from the Vegas Strip. Unbelievable colors, surroundings, wild animals and nothing else like it. Easily could spend half to full day there. Do it all. Enjoy. If you hike do it, if you walk or picnic do it, if you road cycle you are in for a treat. Easily can do 20, 40 or 80 mile trips with some challenging climbs. Bring water but there is water in the rest stops and at the museum. Costs a couple of bucks to enter the park.
A great drive to take when trying to escape Las Vegas.
