1st visit, Rini was pleasant, showed concern & made sure she ordered test to figure out what was wrong! Took extra measures to weave out all possibilities ! Love that they have a lab inside makes it so convenient, the staff was nice, funny and made me feel comfortable!
Dr. Nguyen-Ward is an amazing PCP. She always takes as much time as you need to thoroughly explain what your diagnoses are and what are her treatment plans. I would strongly recommend anyone who has complicated medical issues try her as your PCP.
I have written a previous review regarding Rini Matthews, NP, which wasn’t flattering. Below, in the comments I spoke of how their Manager, Diane Novak, left me a message to call her, which, I did but, no response. Seems to me that she would have made some effort to reach out to me! After all, she’s the one whom called me. One of their personnel billed me for unauthorized services for unnecessary bloodwork that Ms. Novak refused to discuss with me which could be why she never called me back. Valley Oaks is now called Astrana. This was my third office visit with Rini Mathews. She is quite personable and knowledgeable. She reviewed all of my lab work with me, and answered all questions I had. Office staff stated that they are currently still accepting new patients.
Dr. Tan and Dr. Mathews were great! Very nice, professional and knowledgeable.
