Gary the bus driver was very helpful friendly person. Go Gary.
I enjoy riding the bus meeting people and conversations with the drivers.
Some of the drivers seem to really care and others are pretentious and plain rude.
How can I go to see Toni Toni Toni without public transportation, legislators? Doesn't this go against my rights as an american citezen? Gee, looks like a delegate will be at this event but the government can't fit money in the budget for late evening transportation so people with disabilities and the elderly can attend evening events. Go figure tax payers!
Not all drivers are to sweet, but some care. I will always look up to Mark Williams. Once I was assaulted downtown, he got off of his bus, chased the man several blocks. He was hit also, but he held the man until police arrived. I am disabled and was taken to the hospital. I remember Mike Farmer too. R.I.P. Many complain. it is not a limousine, but it is better than walking 10 miles in 90 degree heat or 20 degrees cold. I was riding before it was $.75 to ride.
It is a pain to have to wait on the hourly buses, but as an everyday rider I don't really have any complaints. I think some route adjustments should be made.
I CALLED VALLEY METRO ON JULY 11, 2015. FOR INFORMATION ON THE "SMART WAY BUS" TO LYNCHBURG, VA. THE LADY AT CAMPBELL COURT WAS RUDE SHE SAID I'M NOT GOING TO ARGUE WITH U AND PUT ME ON HOLD. THEN I WAS ON HOLD FOR AWHILE SO I HUNG UP AND CALLED BACK. THEN I WAS ON HOLD FOR OVER 6 MINUTES. THEN A GUY PICKED UP AND HE WAS RUDE AND HE SAID HE WAS A SUPERVISOR. AND HE WAS NOT WILLING TO SAY ANYTHING TO MS. RUDE LADY. I WAS TRYING TO GET MY SECOND QUESTION ANSWERED BUT IT WASN'T. SO I HAD TO CALL BACK.
