Get directionsThe Valley Hope staff are very compassionate, caring & patient. They also welcomed my family member in on barely any notice. The facility is updated, very clean, safe & they work with you on payments. We are very thankful for everyone at VH and highly recommend it. Everyone becomes family here.
Extremely disappointed the lack of communication I have received from the staff at Valley Hope. I am not able to get anyone for Valley Hope to return my phone calls. I asked to speak with the director of the rehabilitation center and was told Clayton was already gone for the weekend. It is very concerning to me that the request for information about the health of my family member is being ignored. And very disappointed that I am not receiving updates on her condition.
Best place ever. The staff behind the scenes were x100, but it was also the environment and the residents that made. It. All. Worth. It. All. #AVHshoutout to my kitchen ladies! Thanks for 20 lbs. 😩 #AVHshoutout to my C&C Linda&Wil 🎨🔥❤️👊🏻
Atchison Valley Hope gave me my son back. He is clean and sober now for 2400+ days, one day at a time.
where recovery beings and a new life
Great care, loving staff, amazing counselors and chaplains. I am proud to be apart of the Valley Hope family
Top notch facility; Counselors, chaplins andnursing staff!!
I went through Atchison Valley Hope September 23, 2003 and have been clean since that date. I go to meetings, have a sponsor, work the steps, am involved in service work and have a higher power. These are all tools I learned at Valley Hope, if not through the lectures, then through the counselors chaplains, staff and going to meetings. I also go to renewal says. Every third Friday I go to Atchison to renew my recovery. We have an alumni group that meets at 9am and we spend the day together.
While at AVH, my small group and small group counselor, Annie, saved my life for SURE... and gave me the chance to recover HONESTLY. Also taught me to be vulnerable and transparent. I've been in treatment (literally) 10 times prior to this treatment "episode" and I was asked by many people, "What's different this time?" My answer is: Annie and Atchison. That's what was different. I miss having her honestly sharing her experience, strength and hope on a daily basis. She is exactly what I needed! Love you, Annie!
