Yesterday I had my yearly eye appointment at the Lenza Eye Center in Newberg. As always members of the staff were skilled, efficient, kind and patient. Dr. Gurdian is both excellent as an ophthalmologist and kind as a person. I always feel valued as a patient and a person. Thanks to everyone at Lenza.
Blended bifocals are the best ever! Service was great, although it took over three weeks for my glasses to be prepared. I, admittedly, was a bit frustrated as I waited for my glasses. But when I put on the glasses and saw distance and read “clearer than ever,” couldn’t have been happier!
My experience with this place can be described as "frustrating" and that is putting it nicely!! During my first and only appointment I had to wait for nearly two hours! I am not retired, I do not have all day to wait for an eye dr. To make matters worse, no one bothered to even come in to the room I was brought into and reassure me that the dr would be with me at some point. However, the dr along with another dr did both came in separately to acquire medical tools/items, barely acknowledging my presence, let alone explaining... read more
Dr. Gurdian is a great ophthalmologist, however, getting in to see him causes hours of waiting in the Newberg office. People are stacked like cord wood in the back hallway while they wait for a room. I had a 12:30 appointment and walked out at 2 due to not being seen. The staff was robotic in having to explain that I would be seen next, which wasn't my experience. People I have recommended Dr. Gurdian to also found the same experience and said they not go back. If Lenza is such a great company, why not bring another ophthalm... read more
