It's not that often that you find a mechanic you can trust. So when I stumbled upon these guys last month I knew I had found something special. I'll be going back to Valley Center Car Care whenever something is fishy with my car.
Best Service and Knowledgeable Staff! – I've taken my car to Valley Center Car Care in Salinas at least a half dozen times and I've gotten great service every time. The owners are very friendly and I've never had a problem yet. The shop is right on Main St, so it's a convenient place to drop my car off at. Hoping to get a few more years out of my 1996 Honda Civic and Valley Center Car Care is helping me make is possible.

I took my Corvette to this shop had them replace the timing unit on the crank shaft. I took it home and it was miss firing so I brought it back. The owner found coolant in the the unit and intimated that I did so he charged me for that repair. I don't even know how to take that unit off to get water in it. Instead of arguing with this person I paid that bill also. I won't be back and neither will anyone that I know.
Excellent Service & Trusworthy People – As a single woman on a tight budget I feel very safe bringing my car to Valley Center Car Care each time I need to have my 2003 Honda Civic serviced. I prefer to set up an appointment rather than drop by because I think it's the easiest. The service is great. It's not one of those corporate places; these people actually want to help you.
Best auto repair shop in Salinas – I have been going to Dave and Mark for 7 years now and there's absolutely no better auto repair shop in Salinas. I am confident of this one. You won't be disappointed. They offer great prices and they know their stuff. Make sure you call for an appointment because they are very popular (it seems that I'm not the only one who has found out about them).
