I am very grateful to be able to say that I had a successful water birth at Valley Birthplace. I especially want to thank Barbara, my midwife at the time, who helped me give birth alongside my husband and doula . now I have a healthy baby boy who is just about 5 months old. this birth center was the only place hi was able to have a water birth in Philadelphia . even though it was a half an hour away, it was worth it! Barbara is awesome. For health reasons, I wasn't able to have my baby at the birth center, but Barbara was great and really helped me feel comfortable. I highly recommend the practice!
We've been with Valley Birthplace for 5 years now, and just delivered there for the 3rd time. Barbara and her whole staff are amazing! Passionate about what they do, professional, knowledgeable....they are the whole package! The care and attention I and my family received here is hands down better than any we have received elsewhere. Barbara, thank you for being a trusted friend and advocate, and for helping me bring our little girl safely and peacefully into the world!
I delivered my baby girl in June 2014. My experience was everything I had hoped for. I experienced each of the midwives throughout my pregnancy. We hope to have our second there.
