BEST MIDWIVES EVER!!!!! Valley Birthplace has an amazing staff who are knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and comforting. They spend as much time with you as you need at every appointment, taking time to listen and guide you throughout your care. During delivery, your midwife is truly with you throughout your labor, comforting and calming you the entire time. I don't know what I would have done without them. I highly recommend Valley Birthplace to everyone!

I had my daughter October 2010 at Valley Birthplace, although my birth didn't go quite as I'd originally hoped I couldn't have asked for a better support team. The atmosphere was so calming & Barbara was extremely patient while helping me through those difficult contractions. Me and my husband are planning to further expand our family and I look forward to experiencing childbirth once again with the lovely ladies of Valley Birthplace. Thank you all!

Had 2 of my babes with Barbara; one at Einstein and the second at the birth center. Both were amazing. Prenatal care was thorough and as others have said, not rushed as they really spent time on reviewing everything and answering any and all questions, especially important for first timers. Sad I won't be seeing them as often now that we're finished having children.

I recently attended a beautiful birth as a birth doula with Barbara d'Amato. Barbara is highly experienced and well respected midwife. She is warm, compassionate, listens to and cares about her clients. All around wonderful experience. Thank you, Barbara.

My daughter, Isabella, was born here in 2004. Barbara was excellent!! During appointments she always made me feel like I was important and never rushed me despite her very busy schedule. During labor, instead of telling me what to do she had me listen to my body and tell HER when I was ready. Easy and pleasant birth experience. Thank you so much, Barbara:)
