My fiancé was in this place and miss diagnosed bullied gaslighted, not giving her daily medicines until the last 2 days.She was in there. They kept extending her edo because she was refusing to see doctor art, they tried to force inject her that an RN refused because she said she had never been asked to force inject someone with her behavior this place needs investigated and shut down and to make it worse, they released a person that was totally psychosis. They let Sierra Corey during the middle of a psychosis and her family is in Jacksonville Florida by the way. Her mother let them know of all her mental issues and no one has heard from her since she was released on the 22nd of June in a total mental psychosis. Valle Vista communication is so horrible that failed to let her mother know she was being released and none of her family has heard from her since June 22nd and she is not even from Indiana this place needs totally investigated. If could rate this hospital lower I would. During my time there, patients would regularly swap drugs with each other, one guy was given too much methadone and overdosed on the unit requiring multiple hits of narcan and cpr to keep him from dying. The hospital is incredibly negligent. I felt incredibly unsafe during my time there. One tech even admitted to us in group that she felt upper administration was also abusive to the floor techs and that she was ready to quit. Do NOT send your loved ones to this facility
This place was and still is absolutely amazing the staff there is great I want to give a big shout out to Miss Michelle Miss Shelly Mr Adam Mr Brett Mr adee pretty much all the staff on the Psych section was amazing I know where to go to again if with my recovery needs to be addressed.
My best friend came out worse than when they went in. Most staff members called everybody by their deadnames and swore a lot. The staff also upped the dose of my best friend's meds when they were explicitly told that the meds make it worse. Group therapy didn't help at all because there was not many guidelines for it. Also, boundaries are made by the person, not by others. So, let people make their own boundaries, don't tell them what boundaries they have now.
