Greenfield to Noblesville, Noblesville to Greenwood at 1am to get an intake done. The two nurses that where there when I arrived already knew I was coming because there was a referral to start treatment prior to my arrival. They acted like I was there just for a quick fix. Valle Vista is one of the worst places to go for healing. To start off, this place will not follow medical accommodations, especially when it comes to food. I was there for seven days. For the first two, I was not given any food I could eat (I have ARFID), and I barely got food for the remaining five. I have actual bruises on my hips, knees, and shoulders from how hard the "mattresses" were. The toothbrush's bristles would get embedded in your gums every time you used them. I was very saddened to learn how poorly managed our local inpatient mental health resource is through my recent experience as a parent of a youth who was referred to Valle Vista for care. Upon admission, we were given no explanation of what services our youth would be receiving during the 7-day inpatient treatment. We were just told the duration of the stay and given papers to sign.
