Obnoxious owner Revi R – I have been several times. While the hair cutting and color is adequate at best. The owner Revi who is also at the front when I come in is always nasty and rude to clients and has no customer service skills. she would be wise to stay home and leave the running of the salon to someone else. Valery should tell her to stay home. If you must go pick a day when she's not there. I would not give them my business again.

Best color ever.... – I fly out from San Francisco just to get my hair colored by Nicole. The fact that she does not cut it, is NOT an issue as Gil is a genius. Since they fit me in ALWAYS early in the morning if I have to take the red eye, what is there to complain about?

Here is a copy of one email the salon owner Revi Joseph wrote to my personal email after seeing my negative review on city search. She must have used her records at the salon to look up my email and contact me. Doesn't Revi Joseph have anything better to do than harass already mistreated clients? Hi its your friend Revi. most stressful salon ever – Valery Joseph salon, worst salon experience ever. Very stressful and unnecessary. Revi the owner and wife of Valery was extremely rude and doesn't know the meaning of customer service. Clearly they are not interested in new clients.I was referred to a stylist there by a long time client. I made an appointment on the phone for a haircut and color with Nicole. Great Service and Experience Everytime – I have been going to the salon since it opened a few years ago and everytime is such a pleasure and great experience. They are the most accomodating salon, which is important for NY women who have alot to juggle and need a place to go late in the day or on the occassional Sundays. It is such a relief to have your regular hairdressers so accessible. Terrible Salon, Period! – Aside from the fact that my hair came out looking like my 8 yr old sister cut it, they were rude as well!! Its just one of those salons that think they are high-class, better than you, when in fact they dont even know what they are doing. Don't waste your time on these people, they are not worth it!! So many other salons that won't treat you like garbage and cut your hari how you want it.
