She is very thorough, friendly, dependable on diagnosis and any follow through required and always very responsive.
Val is friendly and competent, but best of all, she’s candid. I look forward to my appointments with her because I know I’ll be taken care of, whether my problem is serious or minor. I’m glad she’s part of our medical community.

The front desk people are friendly, and the nurse who checked me in was great--very personable. Valerie is always interested in what I have to say and responds with questions and provides useful information. I always feel I can access her at any time. I will need to see a few different specialists as a result of my last visit, and has made it all easy.
I have been seeing Valarie for many years and have always been impressed with her concern for her patients and her very efficient and thorough annual assessments. I would not hesitate to recommend her to my family or friends.
I only wish I went to her when I moved to Idaho 13 years ago! She’s just a fantastic NP, she listen and she really care about her patients! I just love her!!!
I have been looking for an office that can basically do everything for me and this office is amazing! Valerie Kastens did my woman well check/gynecology appt and was extremely thorough, spent plenty of time with me & was so pleasant. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking! And the office called me the next day with blood work results, and follow up appointments made! Very organized and impressive!
