The place is huge and it has separate rooms for local artists' gallery. The items are mostly selling big furniture, so not practical for those leaving too far away, but regardless it is a very unique place to visit. Other than that, they also have jewellery crockery and glassware. The people welcome visitors and don't bother you, at the same time quite accommodating for those who need help, sweet spot. I stayed two nights in the Sandhurst View Apartment (above Valentines Antique Gallery) with three girlfriends. It was incredibly central to everything with great restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The apartment was very clean, with comfortable beds, a lovely shower and character filled lounge room. There’s a washing machine and dryer too. Note: there is a flight of stairs to access the apartment. Thanks for a wonderful and memorable stay. Bookings are through Valentines Antique Gallery.
Fascinating place to walk around. Some great antiques but also some random items. Beautiful furniture and cabinetry all around. Would recommend.
Probably one of the best antique shops I have had the pleasure of visiting, super large collection for all walks of life from military, porcelain, jewelry, art and furniture, prices are a little on the exuberant side but nevertheless, you can wander around in here for hours.
Incredible showrooms with some amazing pieces. Had a lovely conversation with an amazing artist working inside. Absolutely magnificent store
