RecommendedBEYOND happy with my experience with Valentine Dental Care! I traveled over an hour to get quality work done and it was worth the drive. I have heard only great things from my family who are patients and I only wish I would of gone sooner! I had a cheerleading injury back in 2007 which caused me to have bonding done and this was the best work I have experienced. My husband and I are now full on patients and will continue to recommend this great practice!
They focus totally on the Patient and solve most any problems period. And, they make sure it doesn't hurt!
Dr. Valentine is marvelous and I certainly recommend him. I was a patient of Dr. Carpenter for many years and when he retired Dr. Valentine took over his business. It was like going from the Dark Ages to the 21st Century. I had no idea that such modern equipment existed! Also, newer procedures that make going to the dentist much more pleasant.
He's kind and gentle but thorough. I can't say enough good things about this dentist!
I had been a patient of Dr. Carpenter for over 40 years. I have been with Dr. Valentine for several cleanings, fillings, and a new crown. I have received excellent care. He is so knowledgeable, patient, kind and sympathetic to my concerns. I actually "look forward" to going to see him and Cindy. He has made me feel like family. I would highly recommend him.
Dr. Valentine bought the practice of my long-term dentist and I was anxious about the transition. Two years later, I know I made the right call staying with him: he's introduced me to new exam elements and gently (but persistently) encouraged new dental practices that I know will be especially good as I (continue to) grow older. He and his dental assistant, Cindy, are a welcoming and smooth operating team. Plus he's University of Michigan School of Dentistry graduate! I highly recommend Valentine Dental Care in Ann Arbor.
I’m a student at UM and last week I had a dental emergency. I only had a one hour break in my class schedule that day, and Dr. Valentine was so understanding and made sure to get me in last-minute to take care of the problem. His office is only five minutes from campus! He was thorough and gentle, and really put me at ease. He and his hygienist made sure to answer all of my questions, and I was in and out in time for my next class. I strongly recommend him!

After having a dental emergency while traveling, I called Dr. Valentine and they were able to see me after hours on the same day. As someone who has dental anxieties they have managed to calm my nerves in less than two year's by understanding not every patient is the same. They are professional, patient and educate you as the procedure is happening. Thank you Dr. Valentine and staff!
