You will wait 45 minutes(or more) to be seen by a medical assistant who will weigh you and take your temperature/blood pressure AND 45 minutes(or more) for Dr. Valdez to see you. She will spend at least 30 minutes with you carefully answering every question concerning your present appointment as well as your past illnesses and spend extra time on anything that really concerns you! She is an excellent doctor, her staff is below standard. LAB RESULTS and REFERRALS take many weeks- VERY ANNOYING!
My wife went to see Nora Valdez back in December, only to receive an unprofessional experience throughout. Six months later, she still never received her lab results. She had called for 2 months but nothing had been done. She finally ended up going to the office to demand them only to find that they still haven’t been reviewed. I guess her vacation time is more important than her job.
In April I went there for a new patient appointment and a physical. I received the full blood work done and was expecting my triglycerides to be high and expressed that as I had not been taking my medication. I was told 10 business days for the results to come back. It was May 12, and still had not received a call and nothing on their website. I called and they said it was being reviewed and that it would be up tonight. Still nothing on by Monday. My results where life threatening and was sat on
My mother is a patient of Dr. Valdez and my mother lives 2 1/2 hrs away and com3s to San Antonio because she doesn't like the doctors in Uvalde. BUT!!! because my mother was 6 minutes!! The nurse did not let her keep her dr. appt.!! 6 MINUTES!!! My mother doesn't make appointments just to make them;and they had the oddacity to turn her away!!! So if you would like to see Dr. Valdez don't be late!! Or you ll get turned away. HOPE YOUR NOT SICK! THEY ARE PATHETIC!!!!!
Dr Valdes is a very good doctor. She takes time with you. Resolves the issue I'm coming in for. An experienced Doctor, that is what you want at a time to pick your doctor.
Great Dr. Takes time with me instead of rushing in/out like a lot of Dr's do. I agree wait time is sometimes long but when she gets there she spends time. Sometimes have a problem getting messages through the staff to Dr. Valdes or her nurse.
Nice doctor but each visit I have had to wait 2 hours with hardly anyone in the waiting room. Beyond ridiculous.
