RecommendedUsed the 13" upgrade kit on my NV4500 swap for the ol' ragged out 2nd gen and am loving it excellent everyday driveability and still stout enough to pull all my crap.
i purchased a clutch for them it came apart in 20 miles they sent me another one it was no better so they sent one more it slipped so I ask for my money back they told me the only way to get my money back was to send them back I paid $300 to ship them back they refunded my money for the clutch $650 but would not refund shipping they said I didn't give them a chance to fix the problem after put in three clutches I think that's enough chances

I would highly recommend Valair clutches! I made the dummy mistake of installing my new dual disc clutch in backwards. I contacted Valair on a Saturday night and was in contact with a knowledgeable gentleman that went above and beyond! I explained the situation and that the clutch was rubbing against the fork and making a very loud grinding noise. He understood my frustration and didn’t hesitate to send me a whole new clutch the next day. Valair customer for life and I would highly recommend them!
Just got there HD flywheel and single Disk Ceramic rated at 600HP 1100 ft LBS. installed 2 days ago so far so good I’m skeptical to see if it holds trying so hard to not gun it until broken in. But tbh is says on there website the clutch is either in or out which is somewhat true but if you can drive a standard. You’ll be fine it’s a little more aggressive then stock of course but hopefully it holds. I just have a gut wrenching feeling it will slip but. I guess after 500 miles we will see. Valair rebuilt my clutch at the start of last season in my v8 hotrod pulling tractor. It worked great all season without any adjustments.
New clutch was making weird noise and brought in for Dan to take a look. No questions asked he said pull the trans and inspect. Inspection didnt show any signs of issues and he said replace anyways. Found rip in shifter boot and replaced also. All under warranty. You can not ask for better people to deal with. While I was waiting Dan even took me to lunch. Phillip had trans out and back in with new clutch in 4 hours. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!! Thanks again guys for all your help and assistance. Couldn't ask for a better ... read more
