Loved it!!! We took our little min pin on a trip with us for the first time...we were shocked to find out that they have a built in puppy area!!! complete with puppy bags and grass and a nice trash can right near the bags....there was also a nice bench to sit on while you relax in the area....and the really nice part about it is that its located right in the center iof the whole place so that anywhere you stay in the motel you would be close to it!!!! Great location but lots of issues I was surprised to read so many good reviews about this motel.Right behind the motel is a pedestrian bridge leading over Highway 101 to the pier. The highway runs below the level of the motel, so traffic noise wasn't an issue. The trains could be clearly heard, but they didn't run past 9:30 PM.The room itself was clean and looked as if it had been remodeled within the last few years. Clean rooms Large outdoor pool and spa. Inexpensive but not a bad place to stay. Reservations are not that hard to get and the employees are very nice. The rooms are good.
Great local spot! This location is a strange one (off Thompson), but from the back you have an awesome view. The restaurant is great, not what you'd expect from such a small hotel. Place is clean, and the staff is friendly. Good prices!
One of the Better Inn's Cheap but much better than your local motels. Most of the guest have kids so this place is more family oriented. They have a large outdoor pool for the kids to swim. They also have a little play area. The rooms are ordinary but always clean and it doesn't smell like some of the cheaper motels.

It's good for passing thru, just to get some sleep. It's not bad, just a regular room. Staff is friendly, parking is out in front of rooms. They offer a frequent user card, if you plan to stay at other Vagabond Inn's. PROS: Easy access to the rooms, no stairs CONS: No frills

good place for a short stay This motel is not as unattractive as the name. It is very close to the airport with decent facilities. the rooms are of a good size, with plenty of fresh air. If you are lucky you might get one which overlooks the bay. rates are very reasonable, considering it's the bay area and you may get a deep discount if you book on the internet. They also give out coupons that you can use after 5 nights of stay that makes it even cheaper. It's conviniently loacted from restaurants and they have good service.... read more
Least expensive suitable place in Pasadena The funny thing about Pasadena is the lack of motels. When my uncle was visiting he stayed here because it was the closest motel under $100. Still a bit pricey, but you can't be too choosey in these parts. I went up to see his room and was actually pleasantly suprised with how decent it was. The place seemed kept up well with no trash and clean paint. The only scary part was the parking in the back.
