Stayed here after attending the OC fair last week. Enjoyed the pool, but needed to request a cot for my son (due to only having a 1 bed room available), I had to request it several times. I called, and I went into the office twice. They then charged an additional $10 on top of our room fee. When they finally brought it in, it was filthy, complete with literal trash and dirt on it (see attached pictures). My wife and I were staying in Costa Mesa for a night and figured this place was the best deal. However we quickly realized we made a huge mistake. The area had a ton of homeless as well as the most disgusting rooms I’ve seen. bugs were on the inner bed sheets and stains and smells filled the room. We immediately left and they wouldn’t even issue a refund!!!
This was easily one of the most uncomfortable hotel experiences we’ve ever had — especially as parents traveling with kids. We booked this hotel through Hotels.com based on the pictures and description, which made it seem clean and family-friendly. Unfortunately, what we walked into was nothing like that. The first room we were given smelled strongly of mold the second we opened the door. We booked this hotel through Hotels.com based on the photos and description, but the reality was drastically different — and honestly, pretty concerning. When we arrived, we were given a key to Room 1. Upon opening the door, we were immediately hit with a strong musty/moldy smell. The furniture and walls looked dirty and neglected, and the bathroom had visible black mold around the baseboards, along with signs of water damage that still appeared wet.
