I have rented homes in South Lake Tahoe multiple times with VRA and have always had a wonderful experience! My most recent experience TAKES THE CAKE. I came into South Lake Tahoe after a huge storm came in it. It was 8 pm and I return to our rental after fighting through challenging road conditions to find the driveway of our rental 4 feet high with fresh snow. Not good. The snow plow has been here once since we've been here (five days). The refrigerator is broken and no response since we reported it two days after we were here. The oven was dirty we took possession of the property and smoked the kitchen up when we used it. The security alarm sensor at the casement window in the kitchen fell off two days ago. This has been disappointing to say the least.
We are homeowners in Tahoe Donner and we started using VRA property management company last year. The VRA team is reliable, responsive, and they provide exceptional customer service. They are also nice people to work with and have been helpful with suggestions to improve our home and guest experience. We contacted VRA when the city of South Lake Tahoe started their "three strikes you're out" process. While we heavily screened our renters, we felt we needed additional support from a local company who could be our eyes and ears. It has been the best decision. I’ve preformed home inspections on a few of the VRA properties and found this company to be top notch. Professional, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. The housekeeping staff and technicians do a great job keeping the homes in great shape. I’m glad that Caleb has his clients best interest in mind and realizes the harsh conditions that Sierra Nevada winters produce, taking a toil on the homes in Lake Tahoe basin.
