They came a long way to get to where their at today! I worked here for 15 years. It's a pretty good hospital. The hub. The only one that has operations. They do it all. Hearts, kidneys and whatever you need done. Their great!
Hurry up and wait.. I avoid the VA as much as possible and choose UPMC 9/10 times. How sad is that?
Had a referral a month ago. Called community "care" to see what the hold up is. They haven't even looked at it yet. They said they will contact me when they make the appointment. That was 3 days ago. I could of make this appointment MYSELF 4 weeks ago. Typical VA crap. They are too big to care. And I have to have this PT appointment and then do 11 more just to get an MRI of my lower back.
