My son had an accident he drilled through his finger with a power drill we went to the emergency room at 10 am, and he dodnt get called until 3:00we were in the pharmacy at 430 he sat there with pain all that time. Wait he sat half the time the other half he stood because there were no seats.
Ok...even though I had to wait a few hours....(because of same day Lab Test), the VA Hospital in Long Beach....was just awesome. The Nurses were very kind, and my new 'stand in' Doctor Stephanie, was GREAT! She listened and seem to really care about me! My hat off to the Long Beach VA Hospital!!! Job well done!

Had my first appointment yesterday and at first, I thought it was going to be one of those days when they didn't have my lab work request upon arrival. After getting that sorted out, everything else was flawless. Got lab work done and when I met with my primary doctor, they already had my results. Had an EKG and x-ray with little to no wait. World class all around. Got another call today letting me know of an opening tomorrow for additional services, so I am impressed.
Great experience going here for my medical care. No problems at all
I have always been impressed with the level of care provided by the doctors and many of the nurses. Unfortunately, a lvn took her duties lightly and failed to convey my messages to my primary care provider. As well the lvn misconstrued facts conveyed to her by me in my medical notes. Otherwise, so very grateful for the Long Beach Veterans hospital!
