I've been going to VAMC Fresno for 14 years, and every area of the Hospital is very professional. However they are swamped with patients and it takes to long for services.
Fresno, CA Veterans Hospital has a few surprises. The Good: some capable, caring doctors in spite of the institution being a "teaching hospital." Most volunteers/staff are helpful/patient. There is noticeable improvement in wait-time, the outdated adage "hurry up and wait" fast becoming outdated/unaccepted. Most areas appear clean and maintained. Do not go here! It is filthy and an absolute disgrace that the men and women who have served our country have to go to such a place.
