This was the best food I’ve had in a long time. It was extremely busy feb 15, but that didn’t stop them from being incredibly polite & helpful. All the seats were taken with an hour wait, but the bar was open. We had no problem sitting there, and my boyfriend and I both got a drink. He ordered the cheesesteak sandwich and I ordered the pesto penne but I added shrimp and scallops. It was $10 to add the meat but it was worth every dollar. Dining at VaBene is always a pleasant experience!!! Wonderful, delicious food, friendly staff, and a warm, clean environment!!! One of the top dining establishments in Duluth!!!
It was the evening special. 7 little piece’s of pasta with seafood and sauce. There was no seafood in or around, and it was such a small portion, for $18.00. A glass of wine, a glass of beer, the special, and a salad for my date, over $60.00. There are too many nice restaurants in the area.
Love the relaxed style, choose your view and enjoy amazing food, while drinking a fabulous bouquet of Italian Wines!
