First time at Va Bene. The view was great overlooking Lake Superior. Service was slow but friendly. The food was way overpriced for the portions you received. This place may be for some folks, but not for me.
RecommendedVery friendly & responsive service and one of the best Italian-style meals I've ever eaten! Plus, a gorgeous view of the lake. Can't wait to go back!
Pasta dishes tasted great! Love the view. Dessert was delish!(teramisu & chocolate truffle cake), a bit pricey. Service was a bit slow. Disappointed that they do not have straws or to go cups, especially when a soda is over $3!
Our food was very good and the service was great . Our server Nathan knew his stuff and we will be back again. We sat on the deck and had a great view of Lake Superior with Sailboats dotting the horizon

My husband and I ate at Va Bene last night for a date night. Oh my goodness, the food was exquisite! My Rapallo Pesto was AMAZING! It is my favorite dish and last night it was even better. LOTS of pesto! Yum! Keep up the good work Va Bene!

Such a cute, lovely place! Got a beet salad for lunch, which was delicious, but all the pasta being brought to other tables smelled amazing!� I know what I’m getting next time!�
