My family and I have been going to Dr. Uyemura for over 20 years. Please ignore the other ratings about the front desk. yes, I know customer service is very important, but I’m going to be reviewing Dr. Uyemura as a person and the doctor. He is patient, kind, and very thorough. he goes above and beyond and you can tell he’s very passionate about his work. That’s very rare to see for someone that has been doing it for so long! The other reviews did not even review the doctor.
The mexican lady with the glasses at the front desk is very rude. They are very unorganized and desk is a mess to where they lost my glasses and pretty much said oh well, we have to purchase new ones.
Have an appointment. You sign in. No one acknowledged you until 20 minutes and then asked if you have an appointment. No I just thought I'd come to an optometrist office. Then I'm asked if I'm in a hurry. Does he need to do emergency heart surgery. You keep me waiting 20 minutes and then you insult me. No thanjs
I was referred here after many years at a different place that I was happy with. So glad I changed. Alan is the best. Explained everything to me. When choosing glasses every option was explained to me. I felt it was entirely my choice. Very nice people. I will always go there in the future.
Dr. Uyemura is the best Optometrist I've ever been to.
Dr. Uyemura is an awesome doctor. He is detailed and very professional, I recommend him over and over again. I have been his patient for several years and every year his has been very consistent in his format of making sure the patient is cared for. His staff is very efficient and there is no wait.MVG
