I would not recommend the UW Urology dept to address enlarged prostate issues. I felt they were focused on the procedure more than a quality of life outcome. I have not felt any commitment to managing my recovery. I would vet providers carefully for experience and to ensure a focus on recovery support. Mine was, and continues to be 7 months later, a very negative quality of life experience .
