This place is the only hospital you can go to for mental health issues. I went there 2 weeks ago for panic attacks. Somehow when I said panic attacks they heard me say I'm having hallucinations & am using illegal drugs. Now I have to take urine tests to prove I'm not drug addict to my psychiatrist. I told them I take an anxiety medication & it can cause me to have a positive drug test. They didn't believe me. I went there for help & they made it worse.
Do not come here for a mental health emergency. The psych ward is worse than the rest of the hospital, they serve food with saran wrap baked into it, there's no seating except your bed or during group time. If you ask for accommodations, you will be ignored. You will be stuck in a singular hallway for days with little ability to see outside. I went in for help and walked out with a fear of hospitalization. Do not come here voluntarily.

You should be ashamed for demolishing the Beautiful Briggs Mansion. You didn't "need" to do that. If you needed property by you should have purchased the old Walgreens lot
Horrendous treatment in Emergency. Not the nurses and doctors - they were doing their best with this awful situation. It is the management that is the problem. I wonder if they even know this is happening to their patients and their employees. Their poor staff are having to deal with very unhappy people and I admit I was one of them! I came in in pain in an ambulance and was put in an uncomfortable wheel chair and left sitting in a hall way with many other patients who were very ill and all in wheel chairs!!
