You're better off going to the veterinarian
UW Health as a whole is by far the worst organization I’ve ever received care from. The neurology clinic is particularly uncaring. I was hospitalized for paralysis due Guillain-Barre in October and couldn’t even get diagnosed by the neurologist. I’m sure that was to prevent me from being able to sue them for dismissing my symptoms as a panic attack in the ER.
No communication. My primary and I explained to them on several occasions that due to my neurological condition, that I required inpatient rehab after surgery. They replaced my baclofen pump. Everyone I had contact with before and after procedure, was not patient friendly. They sent me off after procedure with my 17 year old son even though I was paralyzed from the waist down.
