I was told during my Dermatology appointment by my MD to have a blood lab done down the hall. Little did I know that would cost over twice the cost of my actual appointment; over $1200 just for the lab..! I didn’t realize it would be the most expensive 10 minutes of my life. I wish before sending me down there, they would express the why I need it and that it may result in a substantial fee, despite being “ordered” by your MD. Theresa did a very thorough job of checking me over. She discovered something she took a sample for a biopsy and will get back to me on the results.
