A big thank you to Heidi G, my Occupational Therapist at the UW Health Eastpark Medical Center. She has been so helpful in getting me on my way to healing and feeling better. Dr. Patel is AMAZING. He listens to you and does everything he can to help you eliminate your chronic pain. I have had such a bad lower back for so many years I can barely do anything. He did a nerve block and I cried I could run, pick up heavy things, I couldnt make my back hurt if I tried. He also does my upper back TPIs and hip bursitis treatment. Virtually no pain and he always makes sure you're OK and comfortable. I am so happy he is my nee pain dr!

The Infusion Center is not a patient-centric design, rather what looks like a converted office space with a set of open cubicles. While the medical staff and level of care are excellent, the expectation for the design & layout is to match the level of comfort, privacy, dignity, and compassion that all patients deserve. This would improve the overall patient experience that the new Center promised. For now it’s cold and clinical, hence a major disappointment.

This building is incredibly poorly designed. They’re short an estimated 500 parking spots which means parking is even more challenging than at the main hospital campus which supposedly wasn’t going to be the case. The valet area is so small that it easily fills up likely because there aren’t spots to even valet the cars to. When you make it into the building in what I now know is the south side there is only one person at a desk to help with checking folks in—the rest are all self check-in stations which is brilliant because... read more
