I was discriminated against based on my size and history. They refused to perform the test my physician ordered which is far more optimal for my size. Then in my chart they lied and claimed I “could not tolerate” the test when no such test was attempted or performed- that’s fraud! Instead they performed a different test not ordered by my physician and were not able to get the images my physician needs. I would highly recommend Dr Robert Dempsey who is a neurosurgeon at UW Health. I am grateful he is my doctor and made the process of monitoring a brain tumor in the beginning of the journey and now we are preparing to take it out surgically and I feel as if I am in good hands. I have never had a bad experience at this facility, even when dealing with other departments regarding referrals on other doctors I’m waiting to see.
