Truly my husband wanted to bank here, but I think they have a different kind of of patron in mind. We were denied a HELOC to recover from some pandemic errors(which banks act like never happened)and than we applied a year later for a car and both times were NO. I'm sure the staff are good but they don't service regular people but maybe richer people. I suggest *********. Someone scammed my info and opened an account in my name and I received a letter that said congrats your account was approved! I called immediately and they assured me that account was flagged for fraud and had been locked. 2 weeks later I got a credit card in the mail and a special pin number to withdraw cash from the card if I wanted. Are You *----- KiddingMe?!? So much for a "locked" account! Not happy. :(

They don't care about scams, a **year old boy transferring ****dollars out of your account matters nothing to them, even if you can't afford the transaction they just empty your checking, savings account and open a line of credit FOR you that you're expected to pay back. Yeah they apologize but also state that you shouldn't let a little kid call their parents for help, all they had to do was block the charge, now someone's life is ruined.

If you're looking for a credit union lacking customer service etiquette, empathy & compassion, and basic human morals, choose UWCU. If you see an ad, don't fall for it; if they offer a better interest rate, run; if you ever have the pleasure of needing any assistance over the phone, record it. They will never, and I mean never, admit they've done something wrong. Only the customer can make mistakes. One star is really too much of a rating but necessary to leave a review.

Don't fall for the 1st time home buyer discount of their mortgage.UWCU offered to match a loan estimate I got from another bank.The offer they gave is $1K lower lender credit because they already have this 1st time home buyer discount. Then just before closing, they told me they will not give the $1K because I already have too much lender credit (they won't proportionally lower the interest rate to lower the lender credit) I can't go back to the original bank because we are already very close to the closing date.Because of t... read more

Antiquated Mortgage permit ********************, will not allow payment options online from other accounts. Will not allow weekly or bi-weekly payments to be made, which saves the customer interest.

Spoke to Jane today after requesting to speak to a supervisor, a manager of one of your banks. After being on the phone for 40 minutes, and being repetitively told that the error comes from the fact that my pdf app on my phone has the error because they can't see any error on their website, I attempted to send a message through their FB messenger. I was ment with their customer service telephone number. They have no official reporting procedure for customers experiencing app errors, and this could possibly be a security issu... read more

On 04/23 I sent an e-mail about setting up a small business checking account for a new business. I received a response the next afternoon from Michael D** asking for me to answer some questions and to e-mail them back to him. He said he would be going on a 2-week vacation starting the 27th and included Eliseo L********* in the thread to handle things when he, Michael, was gone.
