Great Service
I had a rough experience with my first appointment here (with Esme). I was told the doctor gets in at 9 am and the first appointments available are at 9:30 am. I scheduled for 9:30 and arrive 10 minutes early to give time for paperwork. At 9:30 I was taken back and told that the doctor is running late and they’ll let me know when they get in. Elisa has tried to prescribe me medication that would cause severe side effects with medication interactions, but wrote it off as "rare", even though drugs.com explicitly says "severe side effects may occur". Every psychiatrist at UVU has sent me into Serotonin syndrome because no one cares to check interactions, and one time I almost died. That's not a joke. If this were just a review for the office staff and medical assistants I would give them ten stars if I could, they’ve gone above and beyond for me this week. However, I’ve had the worst experience working with Elise for the past year. She’s a nightmare with getting things finalized outside of her appointments if any paperwork needs filling out. I’ve been cut back more than a week on getting my new medication because she forgot to fill out an actual dosage for it during our appointment. Granted I’ve also needed to get my ins... read more
Pretty upsetting how Elise Steele won't prescribe me Ritalin "because it's addictive," yeah for people who aren't diagnosed with ADHD (I constantly forgot to take my medication as well). I was on it for 3 years before I got with Elise and now it's suddenly a problem and I'm just stuck with crappy Concerta that barely helps me focus and only lasts 6 hours until I can afford a different psych.
