For most part it’s hard to get medicine refills and if you dare ask the provider for your refills you’re “attacking her” Their employee Tania is rude and will hang up on you, she will yell at you , tell u it’s not her problem she should not dealing with patients with long term health problems no compassion. RecommendedI have been a patient of Dr. Vanessa M. Shami since 2015, when my GI doctor relayed that I needed to see a specialist. Dr. Shami is one of the friendliest and approachable doctors that I have. Complicated health situations can be quite intimidating and overwhelming, and she has the gift of communicating in layman's terms and is making you feel at ease. I was admitted last night for Covid Pneumonia. I have a horrible headache and chest pain, however they won't give me anything for the pain except Tylenol and Toradol. I have told them this is not helping but I guess it does not matter how I feel or what I have to say. It's not right to leave people in pain like this. I could have stayed home. At least I would have been in my own bed.

RecommendedAna the ER RN working today, you are awesome ! Above amd beyond. All the nurses rock, they get tons of bs dumped on them from all sides. Being productive in a fluid work environment is one thing, doing it in whirlpool is remarkable. Doctors, nerosurgoens. You are some of the most INCOMPETENT doctors I have ever dealt with. Not being on campus when on shift.
Receptionists are rude. Definitely worth a drive out of town or going to Wellspring.
The worst health care that I have ever seen. I know that people wait an average of 6 - 8 hours before ever being seen. The waiting rooms are ice cold and I have personally witnessed people in severe pain and the staff did not do a thing for any of them until a group of people in the waiting all came together to help the young lady. My wife has waited over 5 hours on each of her visits there. It’s all about the money for UVA, the days of doctors and medical staff caring is long gone. was just told I had to leave and be discharged at almost 1am with no ride anywhere or way to get home. I told them I still wasn't feel good and didn't wanna leave because this happened once already today to make my 2nd ER trip today. now I'm sitting outside the hospital at 1am about to start vomiting again. your nurses and doctors need a lesson listening to the patient. that was the most rude I was ever talked to by a nurse or at any hospital for that matter.
