Great doctors and staff
Human incompetency masked by a shiny new building. Staff doesn’t respond in a timely manner to messages, nor keep up with promised calls and scheduling appointments. Many don’t know what they’re talking about or analyzing symptoms properly and give useless prescriptions.
Just took my daughter here with a fever of 103, We didn’t have an appointment, the lady immediately started acting horribly the minute she found that out. She treated us nasty. I have insurance, I have money to pay for my co pay. She treated me like I was an inconvenience. I wish I had gotten her name. Why would you want someone representing your company like that. I will be back to find out her name. And I would like to speak to a manager when I come back.
Love the medical staff. The billing and estimates departments are terrible. They tried to charge me hundreds of dollars for a flu and strep test stating it wasn't covered by insurance. I found out with my dad in the hospital. I called the billing departmen and they told me to call my Insurance. I was then stuck in ping pong calling between UTMB and my insurance, neither wanting to claim fault and blaming the other. This went on for months until UTMB dropped the claim.
