RecommendedI cannot say enough wonderful things about the UTMB Health Eye Centers in Galveston and Friendswood! Scheduling did a fabulous job getting me a same day appointment ASAP on two separate occasions. The front desk staff and every technician I’ve seen has been so lovely and accommodating. Dr. Khan is hands down the best!!! He saved my vision in my left eye a year and a half ago and is currently treating me again for another unrelated sight-threatening disease. RecommendedI had cataracts on both eyes. Dr Wong did my surgery and it’s wonderful. I have 20/20 Vision.
Mother appointment scheduled for3:10pm. She was the very last patient who left. At 6:10pm!
I love the doctors here ,,, I first came to urmb 1980 for retina detachment ,, and 2 cataracts now on the 19 to have a cataract removed and a lens implant,,, maybe no more glasses to....
Dr. Jaafar el Anon is a quack. Blames the loss of vision in my right eye on strokes. When in fact, confirmed by a doctor at Houston Methodist, he left a bubble in the retina reacttachment which has now totally lost retina use in the right eye. Thanks to this quack, I lost my position & benefits at utmb. Now legally blind, ssdi, lost 5 years of income. I lost all respect for Dr. Brian Wong, who did my cataracts, for defending the quack that ruined my life.
Need to do better with scheduling, the wait times are too long 30+ minutes.
