Get directionsI went here last night because I had some really bad abdominal pain, and the overall experience was very bad. I had blood and urine samples taken, and I was not told the results until an additional CT scan was performed. (was the CT necessary?) The doctor seemed really intent on giving me morphine & another pain medication, and I had to repeatedly tell her no. This is my second visit to an ER in more than 30 years. I don’t want meds, but I do want help and answers. I was referred to ER by instacare doc for more testing that couldn’t be done at instacare (almost a week of fever with no known origin, blood in urine and stool, heart doing some very weird things). Dr Hyer in the Emergency department is actually the worst. He is unkind and borderline cruel. My blood pressure was 159/107, and my feet and hands were numb and tingling, and my head is in 9/10 pain and he knew that, looked me in the eye, and told me to get over my headache with some ibuprofen. Im literally shaking from the pain and he doubled down and bluntly repeated himself. Horrible bedside manner, what a jerk.
This Hospital is by far the worst hospital in the state of Utah hands down. Super disrespectful unkind dishonest sneeky and horrible attitudes. A man thought it would be ok to sign actual document for me illegally without consent. I did stop him before he went to far. I am disabled but not stupid. He continued his horrible attitude.
