Outstanding medical care. Dr. Seema Rao is excellent.
I had one of the most disappointing healthcare experiences of my life with Dr. George John at UT Southwestern. As a 27-year-old breast cancer survivor who was diagnosed at 25, I came to this appointment fully prepared — with printed test results and a binder detailing my treatment history — simply to get established care and receive referrals required by my insurance (TRICARE) for oncology, gynecology, plastic surgery, therapy, etc. Instead of being met with professionalism, I was met with condescension and sarcasm. Use the general entrance with the word hillcrest on it. UTSW is on the third floor and only accessible through this entrance. There are other entrances at ground level under the UTSW sign but they go to other businesses.
Decided to take better care of my health this year and decided to book an appointment with a primary care physican here after doing much research. Booking the appointment was fairly easy, even though I was not able to request the doctor I wanted because they don't update the doctor's new patient availability online. A couple days before the appoitnment, I get a cost estimate. I really liked they provided me with an estimate prior to my appointment.
