I took my daughter to this office on March 11th and after some time waiting we saw a resident with two more people who interrogated my daughter (autistic) and basically none of them read the patient's chart. We were there to establish a relationship with an MD for her medication because she suffers from anxiety. After so many questions like "who is the President?" I was a new patient here and want to share my experience in hopes that it helps others and prompts some much-needed change. My biggest concern is the lack of coverage when the PA is unavailable. If she has an emergency or is out for any reason, there is absolutely no one else willing refill a prescription. I have been waiting over 15 days for a refill, left messages, and heard nothing back. I recently saw Nurse Practitioner Mayra De La Garza for a Pap smear and follow up appointment, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was bit nervous at first, but she was incredibly kind and patient, taking her time to explain everything she was going to do, which really put me at ease. Her professionalism and warmth made a big difference. The entire staff at the office, from the receptionist to Dr’s assistants, were equally kind and welcoming.
