If I could leave no stars I would. My whole experience with the hospital and the doctor has been a nightmare. The hospital charged me several hundred dollars for copay and as it turned out I didn't owe a co pay. They did not get pre-authorization for an MRI and now they are holding my refund hostage because they can't get paid. That was on them, not me, they're mistake I have to pay for. It's not my job to see to it that they do theirs.
This hospital is TERRIBLE. Nurses are not very responsive. Doctors are slow. They just seem to be completely unorganized. Everything seems to be done as an afterthought. You have to remind the staff of everything ... 'Excuse me nurse, when are they running this test?' ... 'Oh, they were supposed to be up here' ... No follow up and lazy follow through. Called looking for a new provider, the call center agent found a provider, assured me they took our insurance, and scheduled. Two weeks later, the day before my appointment get a call from the provider's office that they don't accept our insurance. Two weeks wasted with no medical care. Call a new provider and get the most unhelpful agent ever and still here with no provider. Used to think UT was great but I guess that only applies to our local emergency room. My suggestion is to look anywhere else for reliable care.
Very poor housekeeping! 3 South, specifically rm 3319, Sept 24 2025 Floor filthy, gloves and debris, food throughout. Trash overflowing. Purewik in a drawer, unemptied, supplies scattered. Tray table had menu adhered to it....never cleaned! Found urine in toilet...patient not utilizing! Notified nurse at 1000 hrs..., was told housekeeping "notified." No response as of 1400 hrs. Been 9 mo since here last....things have really gone downhill!!
They have the most caring staff, and skilled doctors ever!! Our nurses went above and beyond for my mother!! Josephine, and Carissa were the best i have ever seen on the 6th floor!!! Thank you ladys for everything!!!
