Very professional staff and he is wonderful. He removed polyps from my husband and has monitored him for past 6 years closely. I liked him and appreciated him explaining everything to me. He checked my colon too, although the procedure is not pleasant, they made me as comfortable as possible
1. Driving up to this hospital my first impression was not good. The hospital shows its age and could definitely use a face lift. My first impression continues once inside. The admitting department was not private. I could hear every detail of the individuals on my left and my right....as well as they could hear mine. Dr. Hall is an ok Dr. but does not examine me as a patient, just writes scripts and I am now taking BP meds prescribed by another doctor. Not exactly what I want from my PCP.
I've been in a severe car accident and have been sitting in the ER for over 5 hours and have still not been seen. Drive somewhere else. Especially if it's an emergency. The staff here is unfriendly, unpersonable and will not do much to even try to make you feel comfortable
Overall, a good number of primary care physicians. The staff is efficient and caring. That goes for the nurses as well. Dr. Delaney is a very good physician, but extremely moody. If you catch him on a bad day, his attitude is reflected in the examining room. A patient doesn't need that.
I show up to the er to have a Doppler test done on the circulation in my feet (directed by my dr) bc I have lupus and ranoids. Well dr. Lockhart comes in saying I don't have lupus( which I have been diagnosed with since I was 14 and about 7 drs have told me I had it) well he didn't even test my blood for the lupus he just assumed that I didn't know what I was thinking. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL! We had a problem in one department, and the next department took revenge too. My father had surgery, and I was the only family member listed. Nevertheless, the two volunteers refused to allow me to see him because I was not a family member. They knew what my name was before I told them, and I offered to show my driver's license. They refused! They were laughing about the situation, and she said, "Oh Well, you are not family." I asked for their manager, but they said no because I was not family. Th... read more
please consider this option. many smaller hospitals have this convenient service. why not providence hospital????
