I ordered a Matrixx water softener a week ago. They took my money and no corresponence since. I emailed them for a delivery update a few days ago...nothing. I called them today and they said they'd email me with an order status update and still no response. Thinking of canceling my order. If I can't get any info regarding shipping, how am I going to get any support when something goes wrong with the unit?
I’ve done business with this company for several years and have ordered multiple systems from them in the past. Until now, my experiences had generally been acceptable, which is why this situation was especially disappointing. I recently called to report a serious issue where a filter housing failed—the bottom of the canister completely separated, something I had never seen before. This system may be good only in Indiana . I live in Los Angeles, no plumber is certified to install this in my area. They rather sell me something sold and serviceable locally .
I was skeptical about whole home filtration systems until I got to try a glass of water from a neighbor with the same system. The difference in taste is stunning. Decided to upgrade the water filtration for our home which we derive from the lake. Contacted US Water and got a water test kit. After discussing the results with Michael, we decided to add two sedimentation filters, a carbon filter, and a water softener. We choose a regenerative type as I was tired of replacing the small cartridges quarterly. Was easy to order and they were shipped right to the house. The directions made setup pretty easy.
