I have been a patient at the US Renal dialysis facility in Chambersburg for several years and therefore can write a review based on long-time experience. The nephrologist in charge, Dr. Baiswar, is knowledgeable, competent, and caring. Same is true of the nurses, social worker, dietician, and technicians. All do their best to ensure patients suffer as little pain as possible, and they are happy to make machine time pass faster by conversing on whatever subjects of interest pop up. Staff overworked and underpaid. Equipment/stations old worn and broken. TVs audio jacks don't work heaters in seats often don't work broken foot rests in chairs. Company feels like they're not willing to spend an extra dime on patients or staff. And with what they charge my insurance they absolutely have the money.
Husband has been receiving dialysis care for a year now and we couldn’t be happier with the great care he is receiving at this center.
Very Incompassionate, they recently decided to not take all excess fluid off my family member. My family member barely even drinks any fluid! This could cause heart attacks and strokes! This family member has been using this facility for years and now all of a sudden they decide not to treat this person properly! WHY!?! BUDGET CUT'S, GREED!!! WHY??? It's Wrong!!!
