Burt did an outstanding job on my bimini and mooring covers. Very satisfied with the quality of the work he does. UPDATE: four years later, the bimini and covers are still going strong and looking great. I will be using him for all my future canvas work.
We bought our boat in St Augustine. The canvas and eisenglass was shot. As we only have a helm on the fly bridge ( and the rear cockpit) we needed new canvas. They came and measured, gave us a quote in two days, and had the project finished before we had to leave for Palmetto, on the west coast of Florida. The quality was exceptional. Had a cushion for my little Boston whaler designed from scratch. Came out better than I could imagine. Burt is the best!
While in St.Augustine on the first day of our family vacation my boats brand new Bimini Top broke a connector the very first time I opened it. I had my 3-year old granddaughter on the trip and she wouldn’t be able to be on the boat without a top to keep her out of the sun. I contacted U.S. Marine Canvas and within an hour I was at the shop getting the top fixed. Absolutely great service and at a very reasonable price! Our vacation was back on track and my granddaughter loved going on her first boat ride!
Careful with this guy. Did not have a good experience. RESPONSE: In response to Burt's response, here are the facts. I contacted Burt nearly one year in advance. Often when you called and left a message it took forever to get a call returned if at all. He certainly did not spend 40 hours unless he walked to and from Saint Augustine. He did come to Jacksonville to discuss job as he was working on another in the area. Given travel ect that was a few hours.
